Director
Started training with a small London practice and after passing each examination at the first attempt, qualified as a Chartered Accountant, in 1976, achieving Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, six years later. Following qualification, Robert joined Ernst & Young's London office, rising to managerial level before gaining greater experience with accountancy practices in Canada and New Zealand. Following his arrival back in England, in 1987, Robert returned to public practice. |  |

Stephen Barrett A.C.C.A.
Practice Manager
Stephen started his training in 1998 with a local practice, after passing each examination at the first attempt he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003, before moving on to work for a top five firm, gaining experience of larger client work. In 2004 Stephen moved to a medium sized firm to gain further experience of owner managed businesses and Corporate Tax. |

Judith Harrison BSc(Hons)
Personal Service Companies
In 1972 Judith achieved BSc(Hons) Maths & Computer Science and joined a major Government defence contractor, working on large mainframe systems including payroll, personnel and accounts. This was followed by the development of a core payroll system for all Shell UK locations. After starting a family in 1989, Judith jointly created a Personal Service Company. Judith joined Robert Masters in 2000. |

Carol Lovell
Bookkeeping, Payroll and VAT Manager
Carol started employment with BP in 1968, leaving in 1977 to raise a family. Since 1987, she has gained valuable experience in most accountancy and taxation areas by working in different accountancy practices before joining Robert Masters, in 1990. |

Christina Makhoul BSc(Hons) F.C.C.A.
Senior Accountant
Christina studied Management Science at the University of Warwick and on graduating entered the accounting profession. She worked in independent, northwest of England, accountancy practices for 12 years. Following qualification as an Accountant in 1996, Christina became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2003. |

Elaine Tipton A.C.M.A.
Bookkeeping, Payroll and VAT Manager
Following College, Elaine trained with Kodak and in 1979, qualified as a Cost & Management Accountant. Moving on to BP, until 1982, Elaine joined Robert Masters in 1991, after starting a family. She established the Client Services Department, created in response to clients wishing to outsource their Payroll and Bookkeeping functions. Elaine also specialises in indirect taxation, principally VAT. |

Katie Harris
Senior Bookkeeper
Katie gained twelve years worth of commercial finance experience working for British Airways in their finance department. Katie then studied towards and gained her AAT accounting qualification whilst gaining further experience in a local accountancy practice before joining the team in May 2006. |
